BIO

sinestra is an artist at their core- you can water them down to the 'moody keyboardist' all you like, but their elegant appearance, dramatic performances and mournful lyrical style are commanding as they are moving. he tends to stick to the sides, providing backup vocals and keyboard melodies that seem to always know which emotions to dig up... though he has some of his own songs stashed away for when he gets brave enough to finally lift his solo venture out of his journals.

'in character' sinestra is the quiet one; they don't speak much during public appearances, they're out of the way in music videos, and at concerts they seem to get lost in their performance. up close, though, he's actually quite polite and can even be a bit of a jokester- it may be hard to tell due to their dark sense of humour and more monotone speaking voice. this also means he's usually the one to resolve personal conflicts with his bandmates. they used to be part of a band with some high school friends, but ended up leaving for reasons they won't disclose. not that they're on bad terms.

EXTRA

sinestra was originally part of a trio to have their own band- i kind of never solidified designs for the other two and never came up with a band name, though. whoops? the three all took inspiration from different alternative music genres that i personally enjoy, and while roughly mashing them all together might produce... interesting results to say the least, i thought at the time they would be similar enough to where they would be easier to blend. this was also, of course, during an overly ambitious brainstorm where i was planning to start an actual band and use those three as the avatars... as you can see, 6 am is a bad time to be brainstorming characters and applications. at least i'm assuming that's when they were made.
