zukin's a bright, fluffy ball of energy who's attitude is as chaotic as his look! she loves sweet foods, rhythm games, internet culture from the mid 2000s thru early 2010s, and virtual pet/hangout browser games (favorites include fantage, moshi monsters, dizzywood, zookazoo, club penguin & webkinz.) although he loves scene fashion and dresses the part, she's the first to be embarrassed to admit that his music taste gravitates towards dubstep and j-pop rather than the typical scene 'sound.'
zukin's typical activities include roleplaying in deviantART comments, jamming to DDR tracks, or sending people digital cookies in their preferred flavor.
zukin's story about where zi came from changes every time you ask. sometimes she says she came from a design meme. sometimes it's a character design tutorial from the depths of deviantART. he even claimed to have existed during the scene heyday itself, though with little evidence.
zukin is another character with a wide character design history... although i'm not going to share any of it because the final is by far the best looking version LOL. trying to design a character from ye olde era of sparkledogs and deviantart creativity always sounded fun, but when we were younger our design skills were unpolished, and now that we're an adult it felt like just as difficult a challenge! then again, nowadays there's more of a fear of a design being "too much" rather than unabashedly adding every design element you'd like to something. a character once in design limbo, now feeling like he's reached a place where we don't want to tinker anymore. always satisfying!
